This is the Pinot Grigio killer! Ribolla Gialla is an obscure white grape variety found almost exclusively in northeast Italy and across the border in Slovenia. The grapes are gently pressed with alcoholic fermentation taking place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in tank until bottling. Straw yellow in colour with a hint of green reflections, find fresh aromas of citrus peel, white peach and apple with white floral and honey notes. Light-bodied on the palate, there is a pleasant acidity along with a slight savoury note to the fruity finish to keep it all in balance.
