This is not your usual heavy Syrah.! Normally Syrah from a warm or hot climate is characterized by intensity and concentration. Not here – this is all about tension, nervy acidity, aromatics, and freshness. There is a pre-fermentation cold maceration for 5 days before vinification using indigenous yeast with daily pump overs. Ages on its fine lees with micro-oxygenation for 3 months. An intense colour with hues ranging from ruby to purple. A pure expression of Syrah, find intense aromas of blackberries, violets, black pepper, minerality and herbal notes. On the palate, the same fruity notes are expressed, but with a more powerful framework that unfolds on the finish, with soft tannins. Serve lightly chilled.
