The Bleu D'auvergne cheese is a medium to sharp blue cheese from the Auvergne region in France. This cheese features a fairly crumbly texture, but is also creamy and smooth, making it a perfect blue to put into a salad or melt onto a steak or burger. Flavours are buttery, creamy, grassy, herbaceous, salty, spicy, and tangy.
Excellent to serve with a red wine and crusty bread.
Pair with Sauvignon Blanc.
